Until every person in Columbia, MO sees Jesus in the way we live!
The Story of New Life Community Church began in 2007
...with a handful of couples meeting for Bible study in the home of Tom and Jeni Ragsdell. Here the vision of creating a church focused on spiritual growth, building families, and serving kids began to grow. September 2007 we launched a public gathering at the ARC Sunday mornings. In March of 2014, we moved into our current location at 1300 Blue Ridge Road to make more room for children, youth and preschool ministries.
Where we are now
The Sunday morning gathering is focused on celebratory worship, relevant teaching from the Bible, and fellowship—all designed to encourage people to connect with Jesus and His mission. A relationship with God can enrich your life and change your future. As a church, that’s what we’re really all about — connecting with Jesus and reaching out to help others become committed followers.
We dream of creating a community of believers of all ages and from all backgrounds who are engaging in a relationship with God and enthusiastically serving Jesus, His church, and the neighborhood.
Our pathway to spiritual growth
BEGIN – by exploring biblical truth. We value the Bible! Everything we do at New Life Community Church is centered in biblical truth and embracing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
BELONG – by enjoying Christian community. We value relationships! New Life Community Church is a family and we believe every Christian should enjoy the richness of relationships with other believers.
BECOME – by enriching the lives of others through service. We value service! Spiritual growth happens best as we serve others and stretch to become all that God desires for us to become.
BRANCH OUT – by encouraging others to follow Jesus. We value friendship! The final core value at New Life Community Church is to reach out to others in genuine friendship, encouraging them to begin a journey of faith in Christ Jesus.
We exist to encourage you towards spiritual growth as you
Begin, Belong, Become, and Branch Out.
In essentials we need unity, in the non-essentials we need freedom; but in all things we need love.” (Rupertus Meldenius)
